Terms & Conditions

  • The client has a suitable environment for the treatment:

    • There is a room large enough for a massage table (185cm x 71cm / 73” x 28”) with space all around it.

    • The room is not cold.

    • There is access to a washbasin (for washing hands etc.).

  • The client has parking nearby to their home.

  • David Watts Massage Therapy reserves the right to postpone or cancel a booked treatment at short notice should the need arise.

  • New clients with any of the conditions below, or have had them in the past, should mention them when making a booking (so that they can be discussed before any visits are arranged):

    • Asthma

    • Epilepsy

    • Stroke

    • Heart attack

    • Osteoporosis

    • DVT/blood clot

    • Varicose veins

    • Cancer

    • Migraine

    • High/low blood pressure

    • Diabetes

    • Any injuries/complaints at present?

    • Any operations within the last 5 years?

    • Please Note: Sorry, this massage service is not provided to clients who are pregnant

  • New clients are required to complete a Massage Health & Consent form. It is important that any medical issues and/or allergies are disclosed to ensure treatment can proceed safely. The form must be signed. No liability claims can be made against David Watts Massage Therapy if requested information is not disclosed.

  • All repeat clients are required to check over their Massage Health & Consent form, update it if necessary, and sign it.

  • If a client has any Covid-19 symptoms they should inform David Watts Massage Therapy at the earliest opportunity and any scheduled visit will be postponed.

  • If a client finds they cannot keep a booked appointment due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness) they should inform David Watts Massage Therapy at the earliest opportunity.

  • David Watts Massage Therapy reserves the right to not provide a treatment if:

    • There is a lack of nearby parking which contradicts what the client has said.

    • The environment is not suitable (e.g. room too small).

    • The client shows symptoms of being unwell.

    • The client shows signs of being intoxicated with alcohol.

    • The client is aggressive or abusive in any way.

    • The client makes sexual advances or requests.

    • There are other reasonable situations where a treatment should not be provided.

  • A parent or guardian must accompany a client under the age of 18 and give permission for a treatment to be performed. They will be requested to co-sign the Massage Health & Consent form and will be invited to stay in the room during the treatment, or at the very least they should be present in a neighbouring room.

  • During a treatment the client may terminate the session if they feel the treatment is not as advertised or previously discussed with David Watts Massage Therapy.

  • David Watts Massage Therapy reserves the right to terminate a treatment already in progress if it is deemed that it would not be safe to continue.

  • David Watts Massage Therapy only provides services relating to Raynor Massage and is not qualified to provide medical advice of any kind. David Watts Massage Therapy will always refer the client to their GP or another qualified practitioner.

  • Clients agree to David Watts Massage Therapy holding their details as per the Privacy Policy (see FAQ).

  • A client may make a payment using cash, credit/debit card, mobile device or bank transfer. Cheques are not accepted.
